Just curious as to where you'll be purchasing the 5'er and how far away that is? How are you getting the 5'er to the CG? I would just pay someone to move it. Gotta be someone around that could use a case of beer and $50.00. A 35' 3-4 slide 5'er will more than likely have a dry pin near 22-2500lbs. Heck that would squat my 2500 Ram pretty good. I would think the rear on the 1500 would drop 4-5" and be resting on the frame stops. By the time you buy air bags at $250+ and a 5th hitch at $4-500, unless you can find a used one which would be almost impossible because very rarely does anyone with a Ram 1500 tow a 5'er, then you'll have $700.00 wrapped up into it, just for a couple moves a year.
