My search-fu is weak, I couldn't find much discussion specifically about Nash trailers.I have the understanding that they are well built and solid, but a bit heavier because of it.We are narrowed down to a Nash 19B, about 8 years old for 10K - like new condition. Fully optioned out.Seem reasonable? I'd like to hear pros and cons vs other products. So far you guys have been a HUGE help in our search for a first TT. Any Nash owners out there please chime in too!

Nash is built by Northwood Manufacturing. They also build Arctic Fox and a new line called Snow River. Most are built in Oregon. Arctic Fox is their top line...All three lines are considered excellent and all have a great reputation. One plus is that they build their own frames. (don't use Lippert frames).But, for an 8 year old trailer, condition and how it has been maintained is much more important than the manufacturer.Aside: $10K for an 8 year old 19B seems high to me..?Anyway, good luck.

Owned a 2002 Fox 19B. Great but small floor plan. Two downsides, cushions are really soft, and lack of a permanent bed means a bad sleeping experience. We had a custom sized mattress made and made the couch into a permanent bed. Warning, they are definitely heavy. Our 19B pulled OK with our Tahoe, but I sure would not want anything smaller to pull it with.

We've owned Nash, and yes a 2008 (I'm guessing) Nash is well made, but how well maintained is just as important.I went to NADA and even after conversion to buying in BC (Bring Cash), $10K (Can) is high. I could get a 19B in Washington for around $6K (US)

We love our Nash!! Well made, and able to take off-road abuse nicely. I love that fact that it sits high (others don't like this), great ground clearance. This is our first trailer so I don't have much to compare it to. We are in our third year of use.

Agreed. It is not easy to find any well-cared for RV at times. A nice pristine Nash would be something to definitely look at. Either way, it is going to be a savings over buying something brand new.

I think Nash/AF prices are driven by the local market to some degree. 10k might seem a bit high, but they're not easy to find, let alone in pristine condition. And when they do crop up, there's a line up of buyers.

I have a 1999 Nash 22H. Here are some personal observations after 16 years of use. The coach has been hauled to Alaska, Key West, the East coast twice and to many Forest Service remote campgrounds. It has been an absolutely wonderful trailer to own. High ground clearance, very durable structurally and just a very reliable unit. It does not have a slide ( I am not sure Northwoods even offered one in 1999) so can not speak to that feature. I have upgraded it over the years to a smart charger and two 6-volt batteries along with other minor things. I would not hesitate to buy another Northwoods product. I owned a Komfort for many years and can also recommend their product as well. I don't think you will be disappointed in the Nash. Good luck.

That's my thoughts too.

I wouldn't hesitate to own another Northwood Product. I'm on my second one.
First was a Desert Fox Toy Hauler.
Current is an Arctic Fox 811 truck camper.

I've been eyeballing a Nash 17k today at the local AF dealer.

Here's an interesting video showing a Nash (as best can be determined) in action. Not the good kind. But notice the condition of the NASH AFTER the accident. Not likely you will put one to this much abuse.

I heard the same reputation you pointed out. Check for signs of leakage, especially since the unit is over eight years old. Also tires and make sure you grease the bearings and check the brakes if you buy it.
