don't need the room. We are tent campers converted and use our camper as sleeping accommodations and a fridge. We cook outside, usually use campground facilities and don't allow the kids to watch tv when we camp. I would rather have less to maintain/fix as well as a lighter unit. I am not opposed to a slide if the right camper comes up but my preference is not.
ideal camper for us is center door to the galley. master up front washroom and bunks in the rear. really liked the layout of that rotten hornet I looked at.
