  • I've been catching flack and ruffling feathers for asking questions. I apologies if I was misunderstanding in this thread.

My camper is older and nearing the end of its life. Its on what will likely be its last season so I am starting to casually look for its replacement (very likely I will buy something that is no longer pristine for a low price and do some work on it. Simultaneously to asking about a trailer (that I was considering) I was asking about the structural integrity os OSB wood to assist me in recovering my current camper. My current camper was in storage at my friends property. I had a few people chastise me for having my camper stored where it was muddy and I could have issues getting it out. Storage was free and convenient. People were more interested in why I would park it somewhere like that, suggestion I should find new storage or have gravel brought in (not my property) when all I wanted to know was if 3/4" osb on mud would support my truck. Sorry if I mistook some other posts on here. Its all good and I very much appreciate the feedback and knowledge of most people on this forum. Just feel like a few individuals are on their high horses. I did not mean to vent my frustration towards the majority.

To most of you, hanks for the help guys. less than 2 weeks until my season is under way :)
  • nope, my camper is home just fine. shes being cleaned and prepped for the upcoming season fisrt trip is less than 2 weeks out. I am casually starting to shop since our plan is for this to be the last season with our prowler. I buy things cheap and wrench on them for a while to stretch my pennies. I ask questions because there are many people on her much more knowledgeable than me and I don't want to bite off more than I can chew. Not sure why I have caught so much attention lately but I'm starting to get the impression many on here are impulsive and only focus on one thing at a time. at no point lately did I have a problem I wasn't prepared to deal with or complain about anything. I do my diligence and make sure I know what im getting into before I jump. that's it. will I buy the jayco in question probably not, could I, yes. I suspect I will ask for feedback a lot this summer. Hopefully this isn't too confusing for all the rich folk who cant fathom storing their fancy new camper where it rains.
  • I’m so confused.... First post was about getting a TT home from a muddy field and getting it ready for camping. Second two posts are about a Jayco... Did you decide to heck with the cleanup and getting something different?
  • Looks to be a 243B or a 243K. Nada says they only had 2 models in 2002. I'm guessing B is for bunk house and K for kitchen. Both in the rear. Yours seems to be Kitchen in the rear so......243K....Final answer.
