If money were no problem

Hi all,
Winter is coming so I am thinking of having some work done on my tow vehicle which is a 2000 Ford Excursion, 3.73 axle ratio, V10, air bags (Installed when we purchased our Cougar) LT265/75R16 tires. We tow a Keystone Cougar 2017 31sqbwe, shipping weight 7404, 35,5" length. When I say tow, I mean we towed it from Lathrop, CA to Hayward, CA to Lake Camanche, CA. Our storage is 1/4 mile away from our camping. I'm getting close to retirement and would like to do some traveling. I"ve not yet driven the Ex with this trailer behind it. I did when we had our Wildwood and I would actually have to check to make sure the trailer was still there. I'd like to take this winter time and do some upgrades. My husband is a retired truck driver and has no problems driving anything. For me, I get nervous when the engine revs. What are some things I can do over winter?

  • 35 foot trailer behind an Excursion? Not somethong I would consider. Money no problem, I would have a new Ram dually and a new 39 foot fiver. Money being tight as were retired Ill keep my 36 foot fiver and 10 year old dually
  • If money were no problem, I would buy a new Prevost and use the Excursion as a toad. :B
