Even I didn't tow a horse trailer as much as I do I would still choose Diesel for the low end grunt as well as the grade climbing power. Prior to 03 I drove only gas engine trucks. Then I bought my first Diesel. No way I would go back and so far they have been reliable and low cost to maintain just oil changes and filters (gas, oil, and air)
