I'm a moron-the paint ran on my trailer

It's going to be almost impossible to get a perfect match unless you have a professional automotive painter blend it in. Even if you get the right color it probably won't be a perfect match. The colors fade and each batch of paint may vary. The siding is purchased already colored so the trailer manufacturer won't be any help because they don't paint them.

I did not think that stuff would react with paint although the standard warning is on the bottle. I use it a lot, it's great for lubricating slide rails. On my old Rv there was a teflon astrip that the aslide rested on. I tried everything on there to stop squeaking and binding to no avail. That stuff worked.

BTW for Americans, I think it is only available in Canada. You cna get ti at Home Depot. Best lubricant I have ever tried. No oil or stickiness. The bright orange can stands out a mile.

Here's what I always do in such a case: slap some duct tape over the problem. No one will know there is anything wrong with the paint underneath!

Seriously, though -- my trailer is all scuffed up from bushes and trees and so forth, so another blemish would be hard to notice. Our slogan is, "It's just camping!!"

You can also go to an automotive paint supply shop they have a machine that they place against the colour and it reads it and gives the formula for an exact match that they can then mix and make a rattle can for you ...

Another one in the 'blind' club - I could not see the problem but did not want to say anything. If this is the correct area of the trailer then the photo is not doing its job. I suggest a close up of the area is needed.

What is Jiggy loo? Its not the asame as Jig a loo in the orange can is it? If so isn't that just a dry lubricant?
