Sorry but adding mods to an investment that sinks like a stone is not on my list of things to do.
We do add items which match our camping style but replacing perfectly serviceable items with an upgrade is not going to happen.
In principle I'd agree except to say that for some of us owning a camper isn't just about camping, it's also a hobby. I've always kept our rig here at the house during the camping season so I have access to it anytime I want and have done my share of improvements. IMO the trick is to recognize when something you thought was a great idea but turns out not so great, either because it just doesn't work as well as you thought or because it's just too cumbersome, and be willing to discard it. To the OP - I wouldn't waste the time or $$ on that so-called Shurflo Silencer Kit ... yes, it
might help reduce pump racket a bit but it's certainly not going to live up to it's name. If you don't want to hear that pump - isolate it, isolate the lines as best you can, and
substantially extend the length of the output hose with soft braided hose. That will quiet the pump to the point where you'll barely be able to hear it - 3 pics and a video
start here.
