I think you guys have it correct. Most of the issues discussed on the TC Forum are common to other RV types. They typically are unique to TCs in their application. I think Fred has it right on open mindedness.
As a moderator, I will move a Thread to another Forum if I think the subject will have a better response. Often the OP will state they posted in the TC Forum looking for TC related input. Usually I will not move their thread. Tires is a good example of this, different needs for different applications. Not perfect, but overall I think it best serves RV.NET.
I have deleted post that flame non-TC owners posts, and will continue to do so. If I see an obvious non-TC owners post hijacking a TC thread with irrelevant posts, I will delete that also. That can be a tough decision. Unfortunately, there are a few attention hounds that simply have the need to say something. Fortunately, not many are posting on the TC Forum right now.
Personally, I welcome posts from anyone with information that is of benefit to TCs.
