I'm selling it and I can't believe the prices

I'm finally going to sell my popup I've owned since 2009. It is a 1994 Cobra / Flagstaff. I have been looking through Craigslist to come up with a price and I can't believe how much popups are selling for. I realize these are asking prices and the selling prices are likely to be a bit lower but it sure didn't cost much to own this popup for 7 years. A few bucks for tires and other misc repairs and that was it over that time period.

I'm guessing the high prices of new popups are helping to keep the used prices high, just like new trucks...

  • I sold our pop a couple years ago. I think it was a 1985..good shape, did not leak. The people who bought it NEVER saw it opened. A friend drove by, peaked inside...called them. They called, offered my asking price, came from 60 miles away, met me at the place to transfer the title.

My asking price....what I had paid for it several years before. I figured I would start there, and give a little. My price must have been too low :S
  • I don't have one but, Popups seem to really hold their value.
    Much better than other RV's.

    It's definitely a seller's market.
Does not seem to be so with fifth wheels....
  • After 5 years of camping the daylights out of it, we sold our PUP for what we paid for it. (used when purchased)

    WoHooo !
