Images on the net

Yeah but its even more fun if you come across a photo of your rig that someone else took and posted that you did not know about.

Everything posted here on RV NET is immediately posted on the internet for all to see. Same with most other forums.

I use this to my advantage and in my signature line I have a couple of unique words that when used together almost shows all of my posted photos over time...

If you type in GOOGLE these two words together 'K9PHT' and '14RT' and when it loads up then select 'IMAGES' you will view about 99% of all of my posted photos. I use this as a personal database as all of these photos all have the URL HTTP ADDRESSES assigned to the photos. I can add these photos to my 'Advanced Post Form' very quickly to re-post.

If I add 'IMGUR' to google line I get even more of my photos...

I have seen pics of my TC when doing a search. I feel famous. lol

If you belong to a few forums it happens a lot. If I Google my boat model I get hits on dozens of my posts because I've listed it in my signature.

It is neat though when you find one of your own pictures unexpectedly. Ive done that too and was quite surprised. But once you post a pic all someone has to do is right click and save it and its theirs. Even if you take it down they still have it. Go to Bing Images and look, you'll be surprised what's there.

What difference does it make...

as far as I know anything that I post anywhere is probably in the public domain.

Where did they get you campers picture... did they take the picture or did you post it on RV.net?

Thats why people put a digital signature accross a picture that they have copyrighted... to keep from seeing it an advertizement ... to get paid if someone wants it

BTW... 4 or 5 lines down is a picture and me and Janet on Mt Whtney and the camper... saw some others of our TC too.

and a couple of boxes of books on our dining room table at home

and another a picture of my hand written notes on how to build an airfoil

And another picture of me on top of our camper installing the PVSolar panels a couple of weeks after you and your wife visited... Pjay, they were delivered while you were parked in our drive way


Fun... I only spotted 3 people on all of those pictures... me, Janet. and Bill C... who helped me lift the AM PVSolar panels up and onto the roof of the camper.
