My Superduty has hydraulic brake booster that shares the pump with PS.
I had PS leak so for the repair drained the fluid and refilled with synthetic.
Now my brakes become much sharper.
There is lot of technological gadgets that can be done, but you have to draw the line somewhere.
Mercedes for example offers Brake Assist (BAS) where computer detects speed of pedal pushing and when it sense higher speed, it applies max force as human are known to hesitate even in panic.
I drove with the option for about 12 years till I "used" it and I was really glad I had it.
