I have only used this twice. Ya gots to stop and eat/pee. NOT worth loosing bed space!!! If I did anything I would go with a 55 gallon TITAN replacement tank.
Don't want to loose any space, love my bed height HighwayProducts 30" deep tool box.
A few cents a gallon here and there, I am past trying to save every penny.
I have to assume you have a short bed, a few cents? Last fill 48.7 gallons @ $1.44 with discount card savings $46.67, last few 20.86, 43.94, 25.86, 40.41 in savings with 5 fills. I'll take the few cents about $150 every day. Truck tank + the 80 gal transfer tank that's switched via up fitter switch in the cab, truck on, up fitter switch on, tanks switch outside on, pump till full.
I don't think those savings add up quite that fast. You need to recover the cost of the tank and installation before any savings begins. Next you need to consider you spent an extra 115.00 in fuel to keep your aux tank full. At some point you are buying and storing fuel you don't need.
I don't dispute that there are savings to be had, but it's not as cut and dry as it my seem.
