Good advice guys. I appreciate the input. It doesn't help my feelings! But yeah, its funny, I've been looking at Arctic Fox all night. They seem to offer the best compromise for the money. My wife is in love with Airstream but the price tag has put her off a little. I don't mind the odd fix or maintenance but I've heard horror stories from Jayco and Forest River owners.
Every brand has horror stories--just remember that happy owners usually don't post about it.
I bought a new Jayco in 2003, and never had an issue related to build quality, materials, or workmanship. Just normal wear and tear.
How much do you anticipate using your trailer? A cheaper rig might be fine if you're not spending weeks on the road at a time. I also notice you are a new member here. Welcome to the forum! You'll find a wealth of knowledge here from people who have years of experience.
Are you a new RVer?
