I start out my Winter camping season with empty tanks. I just keep a 5 gallon container of water in the shower. Pour some into the toilet as needed.If it freezes in the tank it will thaw without hurting anything. Plenty of room for expansion. Once it warms up dump the tanks and get onwith your life..
