In the snow- tanks below freezing

I'm in northern Arizona. Got a blizzard hit in Williams AZ. It's suppose to go down to 22 tonight. A guy told me I should dump both my tanks and put a gallon of RV anti freeze down the tanks and not use the sink or the bathroom. That's ok until your wife has to pee at 9 pm and is snowing outside with 3 inches on the ground. My underbelly is covered, but this is no winter trailer.
So I can't use my bathroom for another day until it warms up? Help!
  • I empty blk and grey tanks. Flush toilet using anti freeze. If it goes below 10 degrees I also dump fresh water and use bottled water. Still flush toilet with antifreeze.
  • I wouldn't risk the lamp, but emptying the tanks is a good idea as well as the antifreeze. Use the toilet as needed.
  • Hi,

Place a drop lamp with a 60 watt bulb in the waste tanks area.

Do disconnect from shore water and run from the fresh water tank.
  • Fill fresh water tank. Disconnect fresh water hose. Empty grey and black tanks. Run house heater as necessary. Everything should be ok if it is just a dip to 22. Tell wife to use it as necessary.
  • Time to put heaters in the basement.

That or head for Needles Ca.
