Increase MPG
I have a 2014 GMC Sierra 2500HD with the 6.0 gas burner. I have been looking at computer programmers and air intakes. Has anyone done any of these mods and did it increase your MPG any?

The previous owner never reset the trip odometer or the MPG calculator.
He got an average of 7.1 MPG for the 38,000 Miles he drove this truck and never towed a trailer.
In the past few months, I have driven it ~4000 Miles.
Without my trailer, I get ~14 MPG.
With my 7700 lb. trailer, I get ~9.5 MPG.

I had the same experience with my 2009 F250 5.4L. The previous owner never reset the trip computer and had put about 14,000 miles on it. The computer showed an average of 12.2 mpg, and he never towed or hauled anything (no scratches in bed or in tow receiver). I tow my toy hauler, and my utility trailers, and all around commuting, and always get at least 14.2 mpg.
I accelerate sensibly, slow down smoothly, and anticipate lights and stops, and drive anywhere from 55-70 on the highway. You can get at least 2 mpg better just by driving sensibly.
