Thanks for the suggestions everyone. The transmission pan capacity, cooler, and suspension/brakes/tires all sound like solid tips.
As far as a 2500 goes, I appreciate that all threads like this on this forum inevitably include "buy a bigger car, you wont regret it". In my case, I'm about 100 lbs over and my owner manual effectively says if I only had had the 4.10 gear instead of the 3.73 I would be 900 lbs under. So the significant expense and aggravation of changing vehicles seems unwarranted, when what I've got is very close to being exactly what I need.
