Increase wheel size without mods on F250?
Anyone know if I could up my wheel size to 20" and run a 275 or 285x 55 E rated tire on them. I have a 2000 F250 with 265x75 16 tires now. I would not want to have to cut fenders or anything.

This is probably old news to most F series owners but they use a "Hub Centric" wheel as opposed to lug centric as is the norm for street cars and many other PU's. Some folks contend that hub centric, by virtue of a precision match of the wheel center hoe and the hub has superior carrying capacity as the lugs are in tension only and not tensile and shear combined.
