I just got back from a trip to SoCal, up the 101 and then some wine touring in the Paso area. Circumstances forced us into one of the California Beach Parks at Carpinteria.
Frickin' FORTY FIVE DOLLARS FOR DRY CAMPING!!!! SHOWERS EXTRA!!!! And that was in the non-premium loop away from the beach!!! My assigned space was so short that I actually stuck out into the campground road a bit.
No wonder California has suddenly balanced their budget. LOL!!!
