I bought a bucket at the Dollar Tree and a shopping bag fits good in it. I just sit up by the sink. Works good.
We do the same thing. It's just a small trash container that holds a small shopping bag. We keep it up on the counter, but it still gives us plenty of prep space. We just empty trash more often. - nycsteveExplorerAn empty 2 gallon paint bucket, plastic. I keep the lid to isolate oders. Plus any plastic store bag fits perfectly as a liner. Its small but not to small.
- dakonthemountaiExplorerI have a smallish chrome step on lid opener on the floor. Not the best, but I have NOwhere to put it otherwise. Sometimes I put it on the step up ledge to the bed under the flip-up counter extension, but then I can't open it, and with dogs, well, I have to have one that stays closed!
Dak - Buzzcut1Nomad IIkitchen drawstring garbage bag hooked on the oven door with an oversized carabiner
- Camp__Forrest__ExplorerWe have a small oval bucket under the sink. I cut tabs into the sides to hold a the handles of plastic shopping bag so it wouldn't keep sliding into the can.
- GripnriprodExplorerA 2.5 gallon oblong garbage can fits nicely between the bulkhead and the slide and stays put when the slide is retracted.

Unfortunately, I can't help other than to say sometimes the simplest solutions are the best.
I usually hang a plastic shopping bag on a cabinet door, or put it on the floor in the corner under the refrigerator.
Ditto. - moompsExplorerLast weekend I just threw the kitchen sized garbage bag on the floor in the toilet room. Out of sight - out of mind.
- I hang the plastic bag on the toilet paper holder in the bathroom.
- kerry4951ExplorerI installed 2 metal screw in cup hooks just inside the bottom sink cabinet door. I hang a standard kitchen trash bag on the two hooks. When its getting full we just unhook the bag off the hooks and discard it. It's a simple system but it works well. Was afraid of leakage initially but so far no problems with that. We do try to buy good quality kitchen bags.
