Not sure I understand why the 7-way having 12V live has ANYTHING to do with the brake controller.
A Prodigy needs 4 wires
- 12V battery +ve (ignition switched)
- ground
- brake light signal
- output to brakes.
That's it!
Yea i wasn't really understanding what she was telling me either about the 12v pin...as for the fuse box, it's actually next to the battery, so I have to go through the firewall anyway (as eTrailer instructions show). I also don't appear to have any unused spaces, so I think I'll need that wiring kit. Those with Prodigy controller, any issues with banging knees/leg room with the controller mounted? also how hard/easy is it to remove when not towing?
DirectLink controller looks pretty snazzy, but pretty pricey as well!
