Well for me the extra fuel is extra nice. My wolf watches the fuel gauge like a hawk and as soon as it got near half she used to start freaking out. Having my extra 15 gallons keeps her calm. Now I usually drive until the fuel light comes on now - still 6 gallons left in the tank - and even out in BF Egypt she knows life is good because I still have the extra 15 gallons.
“Wolf”.....LOL. I just call mine “The Boss”. I’m sure that was auto-correct induced, but a little Freudian too. :B
Having a TC, I don’t have a truck bed to carry something like that, so I have a NATO Jerrycan on the rear bumper of the camper. When I had a ‘95 F350 with a smaller/lighter spare tire, I carried it back here. The 19.5’s are too heavy for it, so I repurposed the spare tire carrier into a fuel can carrier. It even tilts down which makes getting a full can in and out easier. Don’t have to lift it so high.

The small can is gasoline for my Yamaha 1000. The ammo box hold fluids for the truck.
