For me, I've read too many horror stories about cheap LEDs melting and catching fire, and I also wanted warm whites. In any case, it should be a one time investment.
Same here i bought some good ones for 10 bucks a piece warm white 405 lumens.They also have a wide voltage range i think 9-30 volts so surges aint gonna hurt from when the battery is recharging.
my uncle was braggin about how cheap he got his for on last trip but when he saw mine he said mine were way brighter and a couple of his had burned out LEDs that he "forgot to mention"
