I should probably add that my experience is all with fiberglass or aluminum roofs. I don't know how the PU sealants would work on a rubber roof. Don't know that it wouldn't, but never tried and never looked into that.
Awesome install. Glad you pointed that out this was not on rubber roof-though Im sure it would seal on epdm (or rubber) roof but think product like Dicor might be better choice and using bytyl tape (not putty tape) underneath. IF you ever had to remove plastic vent frame from rubber roof and it was sealed using this method could be painful, if not disasterous.
I was also puzzled on the FantasticsFans inclusion of the 'gasket' and recommendation to use silcone? I used neither. I also didnt like how far apart the screws were on the plastic frame. Ours came with enough extra screws so I drilled and counter sunk holes between the exisiting ones. Adding the extra screws between might have got by using the gasket, but totaly relying on external sealant just didnt make sense.

Ours is a 4000r-On low doesnt seem to move that much air-'corse next to a plastic shower curtain might be different perspective...I added a lid switch bypass switch so I can lower the lid even more and use fan, thinking for cirulating heat. It does limit/control air but makes the motor work harder so dont use that often. Might add an inline resister for bath use/cutting power before reaches fan switch, or to one of the fans speed selctions?
