The fact of the trailer being covered when being towed has a whole lot to do with liability insurance. Repair or replacement of our trailer is something I want to make sure is covered, so an accident doesn't end our value in our investment of our trailer. You need to ask specific questions with examples that fit your scenario. "Is my trailer covered while sitting in a storage lot." "If a tree falls on my trailer in a federal campground, who pays for the repair or replacement?" I would imagine that tree falling in a storm would be an "act of God".
