My trailer is fully covered and that includes when it is in storage in a lot that is 5 miles away. In other words, insurance coverage must be adequate for your needs and based on the risk one is prepared to take (as many have already said). For us that also includes theft and damage when not in my property (which is all the time) and over which I have no control. This means that my yearly annuity for the RV in my sig is $900 for full coverage. Another reason I need to move out of a subdivision with HOA restrictions.
