Inverter installation question

I have a group 27 single battery,and Im looking at 2000 watt pure sine wave inverters.Iwillbe using forsmall coffee maker and microwave at different times. JUST wondering if single battery would work, anyone know? thanks

    I was recently at the beach on a rainy day in the morning and my wife wanted a cup of coffee I had to run out and start the generator in the sand and rain that's the only reason I want an inverter. LOL

    mattyj, your question shows you know little about RV electrical. Get the basics by reading online. It will be time well spent. Not many seasoned RVers would even consider using single a group 27 battery.

    Sorry I should have been more specific I will only use 1000 watt inverter to power a 600 watt coffee maker, I won't even bother with the mv.

    Coffee and microwave take a lot of energy from a battery. You need to start thinking 2 to 4 batteries minimum or just run the generator.

    My answer is geared toward the loads you described, not the size of the inverter. Inverters draw only what they need to service the loads. Anyway, I think most MW's are > 1000w.

    I have no more room for an additional battery unless it's mounted in the bed of the pick up, which I don't really want to do, so you are telling me 1 battery will not be enough?

    Iffy. If it's 100% charged, cables are nice and fat, maybe. Then you have the problem of it being able to sustain voltage for the next few minutes.
