I have the newest version from Carefree Colorado. They don't pool, and with really heavy rains or with snow, and just pause it periodically to let the water rub off or let the snow fall off (Snow can require some in-out movements to get it to clear on its own. I no longer end up with water inside when I bring the slides in. I do get some good slaps occasionally in high winds, like those over 50 MPH.
