Is a sway bar hitch necessary for this rig?

All he needs is one of those bike rack receivers that bolt to the tube bumper and hitch up and go.

I don't know about the sway bar but I don't think he needs a weight distributing hitch. It doesn't look like he has removed any weight from the front wheels. I think he is good to go.

Of course he would be better off (perfect some would say) if he had a 3/4 ton with a diesel.

That video will take It's place right there with the Volkswagon Beatle pulling a Fifth Wheel.
