When we bought our current trailer we traded in our old unit. At the dealership they parked them so they were door to door so we could move all our junk over. They said there was no problem with that but that we could not sleep in the new unit until all the paper work had been completed the next day. They said if it was slept in they were required by law to sell it as used. Don't know if that's true but it's what they said.
