But I have seen it done before. On a Friday afternoon we saw three new trailers pulled into a campground for the weekend, all with dealer tags on them. I asked a local about it and he replied that the owner of the dealership was having a family reunion and they were just pulled off the lot for temporary use.
Most likely the trailers were sold as "new" to unsuspecting customers later on.
