I would ask him how much he normally discounts a demo unit, and then ask for that discount off the price the other dealer is selling the new one for.
That's if you want this dealer and this trailer. The big question is, Is this dealer more honest than others who might not tell you about their buddies? He is clearly someone you will have to watch forever, when you go in for repairs. But is he less bad than the other dealer?
