First of all My reference about a demo regarding sitting in a car seat was a -tongue in cheek- in comparison to buying an RV, NOT what the 'definition' of a 'car' demo is.
Worked at a car dealership. When a car is considered sold as a demo it is under a specified number of miles. Yes we ALL used the demo's all the time. BUT when it got close to the specified miles the usage of the demo stopped and it was parked. It had to be at or under the specified miles to be sold as a demo. The manufacture is involved in this mileage usage also as to what bonus monies will be given back to the dealership upon the sale of a demo.
