Just add the question if it matters to you to your shopping checklist, "Has this new trailer been used as demo or loaned out?"... no one is going to solve this here, it happens sometimes, doesn't other times. I found the RV dealers to follow their own "rules" and it is not like a car dealership... wonder if it is even regulated for demo and loaners. I would expect not since there are no odometers or hour meters are travel trailers..
We bought our travel trailer used. It was listed as never been used, the husband died before the new owners got to use it. It was used as evidenced by pyramid in black tank and other items that showed it had been used (we believe that it was used as guest house for the visitors the widow had after her husband's death).
We did not pay new price, so no worries.
