I would not have a problem buying it as a demo unit with a discount.
Buying a car as a demo and buying an RV as a demo are TWO DIFFERENT THINGS!!
When I buy I demo car all that means is someone has 'sat' on the drivers seat.
Buying a 'new' RV that someone has used? NOT. That means they have have 'used' personal living items within the RV.. I.E. the bed, toilet, etc.
If you are buying a NEW RV that means that no one has slept in the bed or used the toilet. When I buy a NEW RV that means I am purchasing an RV that NO one has lived in it.
If it is
my choice to buy new for those reasons it had better NOT have been lived in. And/or you don't know if these goons even knew how to operate equip/appliances properly, etc. You don't know if they have plugged into inappropriate outlets. They could have had a surge situation which the damage will show up way later. Been there done that seen it.
I'd 'call' that manufacturer to let them know they are using NEW RV's on their dealership lot. The manufacturer can 'pull' their ticket to be able to sell their product. AND that has been done before.
Still can't believe the salesman was that stupid to tell you they were using it when they are NOT supposed to be doing that.
