Is my furnace working correctly?

This weekend we ran the Furnace for the first time. It's a 2015 Radiance 28SSQB. Really like the camper, but I am not sure about the heat. There are vents all over the place, but when we had the heat going, the only one that blew hot air was the one right next to the furnace, which was the one right by the entry door.

When I put my hand over all the other vents, it felt like a tiny bit of air was blowing out, but not warm. Is this how the furnaces are setup? I would assume all the vents should be blowing hot air. I snagged some electric heaters from home which helped keep the bedrooms comfortable. It's almost like the other vents were not hooked up?

I would assume the vents on the ceilings are for the AC and the ones on the lower walls are for the heat.

  • Since I do not have your particular coach this is a generalization. Someone with your model may have more insight. From what I have read and experienced RV's in general have poorly insulated ducting. It does take some time for the air to get heated. So the further from the furnace will not be as warm. I have read that some owners have found unconnected duct or duct that was accidently cut and not repaired during construction. If it is still under warranty I would take it to the dealer and demonstrate your furnace and express your concerns. Hope you hear from someone with your unit.
