I'm in the same boat, sort of. Different priorities than remodeling, but bought another camper last year after selling ours in AK and only got one camping trip out of it and 2 weeks living on my jobsite when we worked round the clock during a road closure.
Still haven't taken it hunting cause like you, my time is at a serious premium and I have wildlife in the back yard. Hunted the woods behind the house last year. No hunting trip.
I have a shop to store it, it's paid for and was not a financial burden to purchase.
If any one of these 3 was not true, it would already be sold.
In your case, why not pocket some good money now and go buy a cheap huntin camper. That's prolly what I'd do in your shoes.
Btw, where do you live in CO? I've gathered Weaten slope. We just sold our house in Gypsum, but still have property near FairPlay.
