Is there a difference between 3.73 locking rear axle & 4.30?

For a side by side comparison, I have both. One as a work truck, the 250, and the other as a personal, the Tundra. Both trucks have the 4.30's in them. Power to power, the Tundra feels stronger and pulls better. Without a WDH on either, the 250 sits lower by about 1.5-2". I have pulled my trailer with both of them and the even though it's a "1/2" ton, the Tundra feels more solid and stable towing.
