I agree. We've looked at them several times and I'd love to have a 30' Classic, but I don't see $140k worth of trailer there. Dealer said $100k would make it mine but I still couldn't see it. The $70k 28' International was no more impressive than anything else on the lot. Love the shell but other than that, just another TT.
I don't even like the shell on the Airstreams. They look cool when new but keeping them dent free is not easy. They don't work for dry camping in the west. There is no mud flap system made that gives 100% protection from rocks and gravel and other than main highways most of the mountain roads that lead to the best camping are dirt or gravel. I've seen a couple airstreams that wandered off pavement and the front ends looked like they went through a nasty hail storm.
