Don't agree there. I bought my fourth Harley, a '92 Fatboy new for $9600. At 25 years old, I just upgraded the carb to an S&S, replaced the battery, clutch cable and changed the fluids. Still waiting for those notorious troubles to begin. It's very simple "old technology" is it's best feature.
I had a heritage softail then a roadking. both shared the same traits as an airstream.. overweight and overpriced. ooh.. but nice and shiny

yes, I will admit to making three mistakes in the last 30 yrs..
one ex wife and two motorcycles.. LOL
