Is there Age Limits on TT to stay at Current Parks or CG???

Do some RV Parks or Campgrounds have rules about if TT is not new enough that they can't stay there???

A guy from my area went to Colorado to get a job welding on the pipeline. I don't know what make, model or year his TT was, but it took several tries to find a place that would allow his older TT.

I guess I understand, but don't agree. All I do is weekend camp and have never been ask how old my TT is, maybe when on extended stays it's different.

Just wondering how common or not common this is. Thanks

  • It is not common except in areas with large numbers of seasonal guests. However, any quality park will have some rule or policy that will allow them to reject something that even the cat wouldn't drag in.
  • There is one in Vista,CA near my house that doesn't allow 1999 and older TV or TT so I would imagine there are others out there too.

I use a App called RV Parky and it has whatever regulations there are for each site on it. Also would call before hand too.
  • That would be my guess also, like I said in my OP I haven't seen his TT. But not everyone can afford new or less than 10 year old stuff or pick a year
  • State and federal CG's dont have such rules but a few, and I mean very few, private CG's do indeed have them.
I think in many cases it's a tool to keep junk out of their properties.
