Also, there are many youtube how-to videos to show you how to re-skin it, patch it, replace it.
if you have glass in the door, do yourself a favor and run a bead of caulk around the edge of the glass. I have seen many doors allow water intrusion in this area. Over time, sometimes it can also lead to a soggy trailer floor. - WayneAt63044ExplorerCan you contact Crossroads and inquire? That would take the guess out of the issue and they may be able to advise a simple repair procedure.
- rbpruExplorer III watched Camping World install a new door lock on a 25 ft. tow behind. It had Styrofoam sheeting in the door hollow. I could not see the frame material.
I suspect it depends on the TT make and model. I would remove the door lock and take a look. - TurnThePageExplorerI bet there's a good chance that if your trailer is wood framed, the door will be too. I think mine is. I know my last one was, but it was pretty old.
- 4aSongExplorerOn our previous trailer the door was a wood frame with foam between the wood. The reason I know this is because it needed re enforcement due to it saging and no longer in alignment. I'm sure every manufacture has a different approach.
- llrExplorermy class A was thin fiberglass on the outside with ridged foam in the middle and I don't recall the inside but no wood. I haven't seen the inside of other doors.
A druggy punched a hole in it looking for money for the next fix
