I'm sure I'm preaching to the choir but... Products like Eternabond can get you closer, but you still have some maintenance. Other stuff up there will end up needing replacement or upkeep too, no matter what kind of RV it is.
My trailer has been parked outside in the weather for almost 12 years. The roof itself has been almost maintenance free since sealing the various edges back in 2004. I spend much more time resealing windows, or replacing sun damaged roof vents. Really all I do is inspect and wash it once or twice a year. At this very moment there's about 18" of very heavy snow on it, which is not out of the ordinary.
