my mid to late 90's Mallard came without levelers, installed scissor type by bolting on.. think we used bolts and lock nuts, but I am not sure, just remember drilling forever to attach to frame. funny thing is back then, I don't remember anyone telling me not to use them as levelers.. and I am pretty sure we did.. sure is great what we can learn from this site.
