Why I went with a Jasper unit...I had lost reverse, everything else worked fine. The problem is fixing reverse required disassembling the unit, which if you're gonna do that you may as well rebuild it at 143K miles...and if I'm gonna spend the coin to have it rebuilt, why not get a unit with a national warranty network? That and I couldn't find a transmission shop that anybody would recommend close to where I was broke down at.
