Antenna and power lead are all-in-one coax cable.
No Surgery required.
The swap is simple as:
Disconnect (unscrew) cable from batwing.
Remove pins that secure the batwing antenna head
Mount Jack antenna with same pins
Connect cable
Pins are held in place with "C" clips. Easy to loose if you drop them.
We have a piece of lake property in Minnesota. Reception was / is very bad. Used to get one channel with batwing. With the "jack" antenna, we get four.
