A full charge? No idea. For the first couple years of owning an EV we used a 120 outlet on a 15 amp circuit on our outside spot. Namely our Christmas light soffitt plug. Our daily commute was under 30 km. Worked fine. Plugged it in every second night or so. Again. Many people’s commute can be serviced by a 120 plug. We have a 240 EVSE in the garage that gets used occasionally.
That's why I'm wondering why they are still insisting on their inaccurate and Mr Magoo dark clouds stance when you are already living through it.
At least for me it's 2nd hand -- from my daughter's experience with her Tesla X.
You seem to be very confused on what is being discussed. Sure in Reisender's commute of a couple miles he can tolerate 5 miles per hour charge. I don't understand your condescending attitude and not once answering the question. The question is not one of dark clouds. But legitimate questions on when/if the infrastructure can support an all electric vehicle market. You apparently live a sheltered life where you don't see the millions that don't have access to the charging that would be required to own an electric vehicle. Or simply grossly underestimate the time and costs to cure that limitation.
I could predict the perpetual motion machine and call you Mr Magoo just because it has not happened yet.
