Probably not many off-grid. However EV owners have a strong correlation with solar power generation. Many are grid-neutral such that over a year they generate as much as they consume.
Sorry, a misnomer, not totally off-grid, still connected to the grid but hardly using and even supply the grid with the juice of their solar panels. And yes, in sunlight generous West Coast.
