Jayco 23B no power 120v or 12v

Was outside and heard my proparm alarm going off in camper so figured I have a power issue. I do. Nothing works. Plugged in or off battery.

It was plugged in since sunday so the battery could charge and now I have no power anywhere although the battery meter shows 3 of 4.

Power cord to camper is good, fuses are good, and no breakers tripped.

Any direction on where to look? Thanks.
  • on 2amp charge it show about 12.6 and on a 6amp charge about 13.6. I pulled the charger off and tested and after just a few minutes on the charger it show 12.5. I hope my converter isn't shot.

Yes, 5 seasons is about average. Better check the water in them before applying charger.

If your converter supplies the coach's 12v needs, lights should work sans battery. If converter is charging, should read 13.6v at the battery.
  • Oh, battery is an interstate rv/marine battery installed May 2012. They should last more than 2 seasons right?
  • I just took the battery into garage and tested it. 7.6v. It's running on a battery charger now. I have no idea how to check or know if the converter is good or bad. I did check the 2 30 amp fuses on top the converter and they are good.
  • Ok, I was wrong. It appears I have outlet power, microwave, but I have no lights, can't run my slide or electric awning.
